The Policy
Implementation of voter access laws passed in 2023
Background
In 2023, We Choose Us led the passage of the historic Democracy for the People Act. It was a sweeping reform bill that implemented automatic voter registration, expanded early voting and vote by mail, restored the right to vote, and brought many other positive pro-voter changes to the state of Minnesota.
In 2024, the focus will be on ensuring that all of these important and game-changing reforms actually get implemented and don’t get delayed.
